Privacy Policy

Kitchen Match · Effective date: July 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Kitchen Match (the “Game”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you play it on an Android device. We built the Game to collect as little information as possible: it has no accounts, no sign-in, and never asks you for your name, email address, or any other personal details.

1. Information we do not collect

The Game does not ask for or collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, or precise location. There is no registration and no user account.

2. Information stored on your device

Your game progress (completed levels, scores, unlocked content, and settings) is stored only on your device. It is not uploaded to us or to any server we control. Uninstalling the Game deletes this data.

3. Third-party services

The Game uses two third-party services provided by Google. These services may automatically collect certain device information as described below.

3.1 Google AdMob (advertising)

The Game shows banner advertisements and optional rewarded video advertisements served by Google AdMob. Because Kitchen Match is designed for families, every ad request is configured as child-directed: ads are always non-personalized, and ad content is restricted to Google’s “G — General audiences” rating. To serve, cap, and measure these ads and to prevent fraud, Google may still collect and process:

With child-directed treatment enabled, Google does not use the device’s advertising ID for personalized advertising in the Game.

Rewarded advertisements are always optional — they only play when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game benefit.

You can learn how Google uses this data at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.

3.2 Firebase Analytics (usage statistics)

The Game uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the Game is played — for example which levels are started, completed, or failed, and which screens are viewed. Analytics in the Game is configured not to collect the device’s advertising ID and not to use data for ad personalization. Firebase may collect:

We use this information solely to improve the Game (for example, adjusting the difficulty of levels many players fail). Firebase’s data practices are described in Privacy and Security in Firebase.

4. Your choices and controls

5. Legal bases (EEA / UK players)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the processing described above relies on legitimate interests: serving non-personalized, contextual ads (the Game never requests personalized ads), frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregate analytics used to improve the Game. Players in the EEA and UK are additionally tagged as under the age of consent with Google, which further restricts how Google may process their data. You may object at any time using the controls in Section 4.

6. Children and families

Kitchen Match is made for players of all ages, including children, and we take children’s privacy seriously. For everyone who plays the Game:

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents or guardians with questions or concerns — including any request to have data addressed or deleted — can contact us at the email address in Section 10, and we will help.

7. Data retention

We do not operate servers and retain no data ourselves. Data collected by Google AdMob and Firebase Analytics is retained according to Google’s retention policies linked above.

8. Security

All communication between the Game and Google’s advertising and analytics services occurs over encrypted (HTTPS) connections.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how the Game handles information, we will update this page and revise the effective date above. Material changes will also be noted in the Game’s store listing update notes.
